• he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon (14:5); • his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon (14:6); • their fame shall be like the wine of Lebanon (14:7). The ESV and NIV add the words ‘trees’ or ‘a cedar’ in verse 5 and the NIV adds a ‘cedar’ in verse 6. But literally it is ‘he shall take root like Lebanon’ and ‘his fragrance like Lebanon’.
